Been here a few times and always pleased. The bakery stuff is yummy and the lady who is always there (gonna have to ask her her name next time🤩) is so helpful, patient and pleasant 😊 The coffee also hits the spot. Nect time I need to try one of her sandwiches 🥪 😋. A couple was there and they had a Cubano or something and it looked yummy 😋

Please come visit Las Americas Bakery! I absolutely love this place! If you’re looking for authentic Colombian/Venezuelan cuisine this is the place for you! There is a wide variety of different types of food to choose from! (I.e: soups, empanadas—better than Mi Apá!—chorizo (sausage), arepas, sandwiches, and MORE!) there are also bakery items, like Flan, Arroz Con Leche (rice pudding), and so much more. I recommend the Beef Empanadas, Chorizo & Cheese empanadas, and try their Arepas! If you want something sweet they sell “Chocolatina Jets” which are fun-sized chocolate bars or the Cocosette! This is a great place and I’ve always had a great experience here with food and service

Not much to look at from the outside, but step inside you will not be disappointed. Delicious food, not just a bakery but something of a deli also. Good selection of snacks, breads, and pastries. Very friendly and helpful service. Loved it and will be back.

Not just pastries. Plenty of sandwiches and the best empanadas. Owners are great people and the facility is so clean. I wish it was closer to 34th instead of the back of the plaza so more people could stumble upon it.

Had a espresso. Very clean, new shiny place in the back corner lot. Friendly staff and informative on the menu to answer questions. Prices fair for current 2022. Bilingual associates, plenty of parking.

This hole in a wall bakery is one of the best representations of Latin American baking in Gainesville. I bought 1 of everything on the front displays for my wife's birthday. Despite a slight language barrier, the owners are extremely welcoming and will do their best to bridge that gap with you. They serve a variety of sweet, savory, and mixed of both. They also have a hot menu. And the price is on point with everything! Their bakes are light and airy. The desserts are well balanced. The chocolate cake is perfectly layered and not overpowering. And for someone who isnt into sweets, this is its the perfect amount of sweet. This place is great for a quick dessert, lunch from their hot menu, or just want to bring back home a nice homemade loaf of bread for later. They are well deserving the 5 stars, if not more, and your taste buds. Make sure you ask for the sauces for your savory order, 100% worth it.

I walked in on a whim after seeing their sign. And holy mackerel! Their food is amazing!! I got pork arepa, beef empanada, a sweet roll and some strawberry cream cake to go at the suggestion of the cashier. I intended to share with the family, but it was all gone before anyone else had a chance to taste it. Will definitely be going back soon!

Love how tasty and economical the food is here! We got egg stuffed arepas, one with bacon and one without, a sausage and cheese empanada, and a tequeno. Everything was delicious, and the arepas were loaded to the brim with egg. Counter service attendant was very patient and friendly. We'll be back!
